The Peatland Restoration Agency (BRG) was established with a mission to accelerate the restoration of peatland hydrology and vegetation degraded as a result of forest and land fires. Various measures already carried out include social interventions in critical peatland regions, and in communities who depend on peatlands for their livelihoods.
