The Collaborative Land Use Planning and Sustainable Institutional Arrangements for strengthening land tenure, forest and community rights in Indonesia (CoLUPSIA) project aims to contribute to reducing environmental degradation and strengthening land tenure and community rights by collaboratively integrating all stakeholders’ views in land-use planning processes. The outputs revolve around the relationship between land-use planning, land allocation and the provision and scoping for possible payment of ecosystem services. The project focuses on two regencies (kabupaten) in Indonesia: Kapuas Hulu and Central Maluku. One of the action is collecting new social and ecological datasets and creating new maps. The team did a vegetation survey to measure the ecological services that the area provides.

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables.

The Agroforestree (AFT) Database is a species reference and selection guide for agroforestry trees developed by World Agroforestry Center at http://www.worldagroforestry.org/output/agroforestree-database. Agroforestry trees are those that are deliberately grown or kept in integrated land-use systems and are often managed for more than one output. They are expected to make a significant economic or ecological impact, or both. The Agroforestree Database provides information on the management, use and ecology of a wide range of tree species which can be used in agroforestry system or landscape.

The compilation datasets of vegetation structure, biomass, and carbon stocks collected from tropical wetland ecosystems including mangrove and peatland. It is produced and compiled by SWAMP’s researchers between 2009 and 2019.

The Sustainable Wetlands Adaptation and Mitigation Program (SWAMP) is a collaborative effort by the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), the USDA Forest Service (USFS) and Oregon State University with support from the US Agency for International Development (USAID). SWAMP evolved from a multi-stakeholder exercise called the Tropical Wetlands Initiative for Climate Adaptation and Mitigation (TWINCAM), when the group was called to respond to a variety of challenges requested by stakeholders, ranging from local to global imperatives of sustainable wetlands management.
